Summative Evaluation Doing this blog has been such a great learning experience. It encouraged me to go and seek industry professionals and after contacting a few I was lucky enough to strike gold with Julie Bailey. In addition to all that I learn on my degree, my time with Julie is unique to what I am trying to do. She's taken such an interest in getting me to discover my style and I'm now tentatively working on my designs for a collection. I'm going to visit her again in January 2022. Her continued support will be invaluable to my jewellery practice I feel. I will continue to work on my branding and logo. It's been great to have the time to really think about my logo and I worked on lots of different designs. It made me realise the value of taking your time on designing and coming back to it over a period of time and letting it develop. I've been thinking about branding ideas and came up with this sketch, playing around with my initials to create a logo. It needs some work and some colour adding, but these are my initial ideas for a logo. 15th November 2021 This week my tutor helped me to develop my logo on photoshop. I'm not sure about the name or colour and will work on them, but like the design. The shape represents my initials RJM.
